How our models classify

We publish the US HTS lines we use on our own export paperwork, so you can check them against your entry before you commit to an order.

The binding classification is decided at entry. US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) determines the classification that actually applies to your shipment. If your broker enters the goods under a different line, your rate follows that entry — not this page.

What the all-in rate depends on

the HTS subheading your broker puts on the entry;
whether additional US tariff measures on China-origin goods are in force at the time of entry (for example Section 301) — these change, and they are applied at the date of entry;
the customs value declared, and the Incoterm (we quote FOB Ningbo);
US customs processing and harbour fees, where they apply.

We do not publish a duty percentage. Rates change and the rate that applies to you is the one in force on the date of entry. Confirm the current rate with your customs broker before you buy.

Other Incoterms (for example DDP) are available on request, but we quote them against a named destination and a confirmed classification — ask us and we will put it in writing.

Documents that travel with the shipment

We issue the export set for the shipment: commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading. If your broker needs anything further — a certificate of origin, a specific declaration, or a document in a particular format — tell us at order stage and we will confirm what we can issue before you pay a deposit.

Model-specific test reports we hold (CE / RoHS / UN38.3 where applicable) are provided with the shipment or on request. UL and ETL listings are not available for these models, and we do not claim that they are.
